What does a best man need to do at a wedding?
The best man at a wedding has four main tasks:

- Keep the rings

Organising the Stag Do is one of the main tasks for the best man. Today, there are literally hundreds of options for a stag do. As I've said many times in this journal, the worst stag do is a trip down to the local pub. You can do that ANY weekend. Speeches at weddings should be a highlight, and the best man speech is important. Do a Youtube search can give some cracking examples. The worst best man's speech was "I'm not very good at speeches, but I wish them all the best" it was a local one and the worst one I've heard about. Surely you can do better than that! As the best man, it's my responsibility to give a good speech and not embarrass the groom too much. Having a laugh is great, but don't go too far.
The wedding would only be complete with wedding rings. Keeping the rings is a critical task for the best man. It's on the best man's watch to get this right; turning up to the wedding without rings would be a bit of a dampener on the big day.
