Stag Party Boat Trips in Scotland: Sail the Lochs and Explore the Coast

At HoM, we are always on the lookout for fun stag activities across Scotland. We don't always write about our own activities and like to highlight a range of different ideas. How about a stag party, which is a bit different… How about a speed boat tour?

These guys down in Loch Lomond provide a fabulous stag idea. They can provide up to 5 speedboats with ten people on each boat. So that should cover your stag party, as few stags have over that number. In our experience, having a stag party of 50 would be a nightmare to organise. That's the size of a small town, not a typical stag party!

Not only do you get the thrill of a speedboat, but you stop off at multiple… you guessed it (This is in Scotland)… pubs. Yes, the speedboat stops on a preplanned route in Loch Lomond. What fun! Not only the speed boat experience, but you get to multiply that with the enjoyment of some cracking pubs, all on the shores of the famous Scottish loch.

Many stag party parties are defined by alcohol and I'm sure some folks will have had had one too many, and involved the speedboat to slow down to let some poor souls be sick over the side. A disgusting site, but we are in Scotland, and this is a stag party. I'm sure the majority of groups are fine, but with speed and stop-off at pubs, this could be quite inevitable.

The costs, as what looks like last updated in 2021, are £450 -£600 per boat. You will also have to pay for drinks and food on top of that. The tours last approximately 3-4 hours. With the early nights in Scotland over the winter, this should be more enjoyable for you throughout the summer months.

If you choose the 4-hour trip @£600 per boat, that allows you to get food, as well as drinks at one of the pubs. The 4-hour trips set off at either 2 p.m or 6p.m. This would be the better option.

It's quite reasonably costed in the scheme of things and if you got the rub of the green and got the Scottish weather to play nice for you, this would turn into a fabulous and memorable stag activity. A beautiful summer evening in Scotland on a speedboat stopping off at some cracking pubs, sounds like fun to me!
