Thinking of extreme activities for your stag do?
There are a lot more to stag dos than going down the pub, a topic we have discussed in this journal a number of times. The examples below are the complete opposite of a trip to the local! They are exhilarating, never-to-be-forgotten activities that you can do for a stag do.
Skydiving:
We shall start with the most extreme, sky diving. Falling back to earth with just a little pack on your attached instructor's back is the ultimate rush. The sensational feel of going so fast yet with so little to save you. This is something that you will talk about for years to come. An incredible experience.
White-Water Rafting:
A little less extreme but still excellent fun is white-water rafting. This can be done in many locations across the UK and in Europe and further. It tests teamwork and agility. You will laugh, scream and cheer as you hit the rapids. This will make a stag party incredibly memorable. Our stag parties at HoM are a little more relaxed than rafting,
Bungee Jumping:
This has a very similar feel to skydiving; just you are falling to earth for a much shorter time. You are not saved by a parachute this time, just a cord. Some bungees have it so that you just touch the water before being catapulted back up with the resistance of the bungee cord. Water or not, this is not for the faint-hearted. You need balls or to be completely mad. Check out our page for other unusual stag do locations.
Off-Road ATV Adventures:
We used to have Quads at HoM, but they were discontinued in 2022. It was great fun roaming about the forest or a dedicated track with four wheels beneath you. Avoiding obstacles, sometimes sheep and other quad bikes, made it something special. Traditionally, quads were used by farmers but soon became very popular in entertaining people from all over.
Shark Cage Diving:
Can you imagine coming face-to-face with a shark? Absolutely petrifying, I'd say! As like something out of the Jaws film, this can be a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience. Protected by a thin yet secure metal cage is all that protects you from these brutal animals. Your heart rate just may go through the roof. This is not for the faint-hearted!
Conclusion:
We don't offer extreme activities for guests at House Of Mulben. We offer fun things to do, such as clay pigeon shooting and archery. Many of our guests choose to mix us up with distillery and whisky-tasting tours. We are in the heart of Speyside and are surrounded by these wonderful—whisky trips. Make your stag do so much more than a trip down the local!
