Come and enjoy trout fishing in beautiful Speyside, where the setting of the area and the thrill of landing a rainbow trout merge to create an unforgettable experience. The location is tranquil, and the challenge of the catch is hugely gratifying.
Your own ghillie will set up your rod and fly for the conditions of the day. He or she will show you how to cast and catch your own fish.
Our two charming ponds are regularly stocked with fish ready for you to catch. Whilst our fishing is more for beginners and intermediate fishers, we do get experienced anglers who enjoy the tranquillity of the setting and the challenge of the catch.
Rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) are not native to the U.K. but are the most commonly used for fishing ponds like ours. We do not feed them, they eat natural insects that hover just above the surface.
Fact of the day
Did you know that fishing is the most individually participated sport in the U.K.? Surprising but true.
We go on a catch-and-release system, which means you put the fish back in the water after you catch them. On very special request, we can allow you to take fish away, or for your restaurant or accommodation to cook for you.
