What is a Sten party? A Fox party? A Hag party?
What is a hag party?
A hag party is a joint stag and hen party in which both women go for the bride, and the men go for the groom to one location. Traditionally, of course, a stag party is for the men, and it is organised by the best man. A hen party is for the bride, organised by her bridesmaids and attended by her female friends. Times have changed, and it seems that hag parties are becoming more common. While we haven’t hosted a hag party, we are more than capable of doing so. We can provide a fully catering day out for stag parties and hen parties and why not combine them? We would manage.
What is a fox party?
A fox party is a general neutral stag or hen party. It’s a recent phenomenon with the increase in gender-neutral weddings. There is no restriction on gender to who can attend. At HoM we haven’t hosted a fox party, but we welcome your enquiries.
What is a sten party?
A sten party is a joint hen and stag party in which they all celebrate an upcoming wedding. It’s the same as the hag party described above, just another name for it. Men attend for the groom and woman for the bride. Currently we haven’t hosted a Sten party yet, but it’s more than possible to create one at House Of Mulben.
